Pool Boy® - Extrait de Parfum

I loved the idea of having a summer beach or pool situation in a fragrance.
The fresh notes are exactly what I expected, coconut, pineapple and some chlorine like accords.
Over time I got the impression of old lagune water, bit moldy, and after-sunbed skin smell, something chemical
for a short period reminded me to burned plastics
The intensity is heavy, very durable. Have to find out how to apply it in the right amount, less is more.

Holy cow, I received a sample of 'Pool Boy' and this stuff had an opening scent that just screamed "California Tan 'Spiked Butter'" tanning lotion! A wave of late teens-early 20s-associated nostalgia swept over me, and I just had to get the full bottle. i'm undecided on general wearability, but I'm certain it's mostly an unoffensive summer scent with incredible pool boy olfactory "photorealism."

This one had me at first sniff. I tend to go weird with my perfume and definitely not fresh. But something about that chlorine whiff just got me and I was hooked. Phenomenal performance on this one

I don't throw the the word masterpiece around but to me, this is one.
Kilian, the batch you made me (received 5/13/2021) is perrrrfect.
Better than my sample. More ozone and sun tan lotion with a little less pineapple.
In the beach fragrance genre I own Virgin Island Water, MMM Beach Walk, Penhaligon's Blasted Heath, James Heeley Sel Marin, and many others. This is better than all of those.
If you're for a photo realistic interpretation of what a swimming pool smells like in a luxury hotel, while wearing 1000 dollar sunscreen, and sipping on a drink.... You've found it.
