Aaliyah™ by Xyrena is the first and only official fragrance tribute to the Princess of R&B. Developed in close collaboration with Diane & Rashad Haughton (the late singer and actress’s mother and brother), Xyrena crafted a true aromatic tribute inspired by actual fragrances Aaliyah wore. Aaliyah by Xyrena is unisex but leans masculine, as Aaliyah favored traditional men’s scents in line with her signature, sexy tomboy image. The formula is also a hue of black which was Aaliyah’s favorite color. Aaliyah by Xyrena has base notes of vanilla, sandalwood, amber, and jasmine; middle notes of black pepper, violet and leather; with top notes of mint, lavender and mandarin.

I’m surprised that it came a lot faster than I thought it would. I’m still trying to decide how much I actually like this though. Even though it’s less masculine than I thought it would be I definitely like the scent. The vibe spray & the parfum have 2 slightly different smells but both are nice. The bottle, packaging & presentation are A1. I’m definitely happy with my purchase.

I arrived home Friday and waiting for me was this fragrance I had purchased almost a month ago. Packaged safely inside its holding case was this bottle with the name of one of my biggest idols on it Aaliyah (ah-lee-yah). I have to admit that buying online fragrances is like playing russian roulette especially if you are a bit particular with scents. Here I am hopefully that this smell is at least decent, but after the first spray on my inner arm and taking in a deep inhale all expectations had been surpassed. What you read about the description of this product is exactly that. Everyone who smelled it on me complimented me on the scent and I found myself smelling myself throughout the first day because I absolutely loved it! I definitely will be purchasing more bottles soon. I just wish that this was sold in major department stores.

This came to my doorstep today and I was so happy to receive it after waiting a while for it. This fragrance smells soooo good, YOU NEED TO GET THIS!! I think I might have to order a few more bottles for myself. Definitely do not hesitate to get this!! IT’S AMAZING!!

It was like Christmas came early for me this past Friday! After patiently waiting for just over a month and a half, this amazing fragrant finally arrived on my doorstep!!! The packaging and bottling are absolutely gorgeous. I wore this scent this past Saturday and got tons of compliments on it. People couldn’t believe it when I told them this was a tribute scent to our beloved angel Aaliyah! Thank you Xyrena for not only providing us with an incredible perfume, but for preserving and respecting the legacy of Aaliyah. I will most certainly be ordering another bottle!
