Aaliyah® by Xyrena is the first and only official fragrance tribute to the Princess of R&B. Developed in close collaboration with Diane & Rashad Haughton (the late singer and actress’s mother and brother), Xyrena crafted a true aromatic tribute inspired by actual fragrances Aaliyah wore. Aaliyah by Xyrena is unisex but leans masculine, as Aaliyah favored traditional men’s scents in line with her signature, sexy tomboy image. Aaliyah by Xyrena has base notes of vanilla, sandalwood, amber, and jasmine; middle notes of black pepper, violet and leather; with top notes of mint, lavender and mandarin.

She’s been my idol for as long as I can remember. I’ve followed her estate for awhile now and have been patiently waiting for them to come out with things to honor her (still waiting on that music). When I found out that her actual family put this together I had to have it because they knew her and her scent better than anyone. The best way to describe this is masculine but with a feminine clean touch. It smells like the 90s lol. This will be my second bottle that I’m purchasing, I haven’t ran out of the first (I have the whole bottle left) but I’m afraid that for whatever reason it will stop selling. So now I have one I can wear on special occasions and just one to cherish. RIP Babygirl ✨

Aaliyah has been my idol since i was 10 yrs old. I even have a tattoo of her in my forearm! And when i found out just recently she had a fragrance out thanks to Rashad and Diane. I HAD to have it! I dunno why i didnt know sooner! But here i am. I received my 2 perfumes, one for my sister and one for myself, though im thinking twice to keep them both now jeje! But i wont be stingy, shes also a big fan of babygirl. I never bought online perfumes, scared to be a waste of money. But i dont regret it one bit. At first for MY taste, it was a strong men perfume at first, but after a lil while it evens out to a unisex. And i love it. I dont wear unisex perfumes, this is my first, and i will be back for more. The case is unique, comes with a look alike vhs case, and you open it and the perfume is there. Purple liquid with all black around and a diamond type cap, its gorgeous!

The only way I can describe this is that it smells amazing and unique. It is unisex and leans masculine at first but has feminine undertones after settling in. It's not too overpowering either. I get compliments all the time. Well worth the purchase.

I placed my first order for this cologne back in 2015 and here I am again, in 2018, about to order another. I wear it all of the time and I STILL have a little of it left. So obviously, it doesn't need heavy amounts of spritz. I'm excited to order this time for the new packaging!
